The other day I had the priveledge of being yelled at on twitter by a you g woman who pointed out my own need to learn respectful communication.
Reminding me of the very reason we began politically correct speech to begin with. At the same time I was reminded our need to be honest without being silenced by people who don’t want to be confronted by uncomfortable truths.
After logging into social media, we could see the topic about escalatimg violence in the Middle East brought us back to the dictionary topic of “self defence vs abuse of power over a weaker opponent to steal from them.”
Enjoying the occasional study time on world religion, the old Testament we had the joy of learning quite a bit from; as many other world spiritual texts.
Most religion teaches that violence is wrong; plus the sufferring of the characters in the stories are enough to scream that point across to us the readers.
~ In this age it is inexcusably to resort to the worst repeated plotline in history; Using Accessive force.
Once upon a time; we did not have interpreters for new communities we encountered out there. It made sense we had a difficult time to get a long when people often fought about territory…. But these days we have all the technology in the world to make easy international communications simple.
How are kindergarten rules ignored when we become adults? Why would we teach these values to our kids if they weren’t shown to be the best investment for healthy development?Because…
Countless years of studies show it is…
The most important part isnthat we can recognize we could do so much better for the children out there.
All kids; are a reflection of our own selves who had to endure and grow to the adults we are now. One pattern we see is how harmful conflict is to the developping children. How by using words we can stop violent acts and learn to use reason to reach compromise.
Be us a person; town or a country.
Kindergarten rules are still grown up world goals.
